What we do on a pre-purchase inspection

OBD-II scan: confirm no hidden codes were cleared by the seller
Visual check: leaks, corrosion, prior collision evidence
Test drive: brakes, steering, transmission shift quality
Written report with photos — yours to use as negotiation leverage
